Why don’t you just give your 90 year old grandma a newborn while you are at it. She’s going to love listening to it scream all day & waking up with it all night. How about a toddler who wants to play with her all day or trip her as she walks to the bathroom for a moment of solitude & solace. If your older dog seems miserable, that’s because they are. You did a selfish, short sighted thing & they are paying the price. Since it’s equally uncool to give the puppy up, get the puppy away from your older dog, never let your older dog get jumped on, step in EVERYTIME the puppy ignores their request to be left alone, and take your older dog on quiet sniff walks so they can get some peace & enjoy what’s left of their life without a puppy ruining literally everything for them. This really makes me upset. Y’all gotta learn to think about things from your dog’s point of view.
